Sleep Loss Weakens Immunity

People need to sleep between six and eight hours every day. When sleep is disturbed or, when sleep is lost on a continuous basis, several health complications can set in. A recent study suggests that sleep loss leads to sleep loss leads to the disruption of the biological clock and this, in turn, weakens the immune system. Thus, people who tend to develop sleep debt are prone to infections.
